Transform your computer into a video editing
studio with Directors Cut Take 2!
Capture video and audio from any analogue source, like a camcorder
or a VCR, edit the footage on your computer and output it back to
a VCR or burn it onto a DVD-R.
Directors Cut converts any analogue video and sound material
into DV format that can be captured by any computer equipped with
a FireWire/IEEE 1394/iLink interface. Simply connect your camcorder
or VCR to Directors Cut with the sound and Cinch or S-Video
cable provided, and connect the unit to the FireWire port of your
computer. You can now import, edit and export analogue footage!
Directors Cut is recognised as DV Cam by your computer, removing
the need for software drivers and possible software conflicts. This
also guarantees full compatibility with any DV editing application.
Using a high quality chipset, Directors Cut provides video
import and export functionality in full screen size at full frame
rate.
The 'PCI' version ships with an approved FireWire
PCI card compatible with Macs and PC's. It allows you to connect
Director's Cut 'Take 2' to your computer if you do not have a FireWire
connector. Best of all, you can also capture from a DV camera (with
iLink/IEEE 1394/FireWire) connector straight into your computer!

| Most commercial DVDs
are protected by a system called Macrovision. Directors
Cut Take 2 attempts to ignore this protection,
which it does succesfully in most cases. Very few DVDs
have a variation of the Macrovision protection that will not
let you import clean footage with Directors Cut. |
