Director’s Cut “Take 2” closely follows the standards set by Kensington for the K & Lock system, the industry leading anti-theft mecanism for IT equipment. Simply connect your K & Lock to the back of Director's Cut 'Take 2' and it will be safe. An ideal feature if you are working in a ‘portable’ environment.

Most commercial DVD’s are protected by a system called Macrovision. Director’s Cut ‘Take 2’ attempts to ignore this protection, which it does succesfully in most cases. Very few DVD’s have a variation of the Macrovision protection that will not let you import clean footage with Director’s Cut.
