Miglia Technology announces G5 compatibility for AlchemyTV™ DVR

First Mac vendor to incorporate new Philips Silicon Tuner into its TV tuning and video capture card for G5's

London, UK, 2nd January 2004 - Miglia Technology today launched a PowerMac G5 compatible version of its TV Tuning and Digital Video Recorder product AlchemyTV DVR™. Featuring the new high performance Philips Silicon Tuner and full QuickTime support, AlchemyTV™ DVR lets you watch TV in full screen mode on your G5. Your favourite TV program can even be recorded to your hard drive in the format of your choice.

AlchemyTV DVR features scheduled recording functionality, allowing you to program the time and date for your recordings in a few easy steps just like your VCR. Your favourite TV program will be recorded onto your hard drive for later viewing or export to VCD or DVD. With its TV/Antenna input, composite, S-VHS inputs and stereo audio connector, AlchemyTV DVR can tune in to any TV station or record from your VCR. The Mac OS X compatible software allows you to select the supported QuickTime plug-in of your choice and to fine tune the level of video quality and size you desire. Fast PowerMacs can even capture straight to the new MPEG-4 codec!

Features Composite and S-VHS inputs - You can capture from any analogue device using the composite or S-VHS connectors. Movies can be captured in a variety of formats for editing or writing to CD or DVD
