Boot Camp Drivers
Overview
Designed to run on Macs, TVMini can also be used on BootCamp installations with Windows drivers supplied free of charge by Miglia Technology. To watch TV, you will need to purchase a TV software application designed to run on Windows systems.
These BDA drivers will run with most PC TV applications, but have been tested only with:
- Arcsoft TotalMedia
- Cyberlink PowerVideo
Please be aware that TVMini is a Mac product. The PC drivers provided for BootCamp installations are a free of charge 'extra', which is not part of the specification of the product. ABSOLUTELY NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT WILL BE PROVIDED FOR WINDOWS/BOOT CAMP INSTALLATIONS.
Installation Instructions
1. Download the drivers and unzip them to your Windows Desktop
2 . Insert TVMini into a USB 2.0 port of your Mac running BootCamp/Windows XP.
3. Windows will detect the new hardware and a Installation Wizard will appear. Select 'Not at this time' when asked if Windows should search for a driver via the Internet
4. Select 'Search specific location', click Browse, and point to the folder where you unzipped the drivers. Click OK
5. When Windows displays the message stating the drivers have not passed Windows certification, click 'Continue Anyway'
6. If required, repeat the steps until all drivers are installed
Using TVMini under Windows
Make sure you install the drivers and plug-in TVMini before launching your TV application. In your TV application, go to Setup to run a channel scan. For more detailed instructions, please refer to the documentation of the Windows TV application you are using.
