Q: What are the minimum system requirements for TVMicro Express?
A: A Mac with a G4/1.5 GHz, G5 or Intel Processor, built-in USB 2.0 connectivity and Mac OS X 10.4. TVMicro Express will not run on 10.3.9 or below.
Q: What software ships with TVMicro Express?
A: TheTube by Equinux.
Q: Does TVMicro Express work in the USA?
A: Yes!
Q: Is TVMini Express Supported in my country?
A: TVMicro Express works in most countries. Exceptions are South America (PAL N, PAL M), France (SECAM) and Russia.
Q: Can I receive traditional analogue TV signals with TVMicro Express?
A: Yes
Q: Can I connect my cable or satellite receiver to TVMicro Express?
A: Yes, this is possible via the coaxial input. Channels will have to be changed on the Cable or Satellite set top box.
Q: Can I connect my VCR or DVD player to TVMicro Express?
A: You should be able to connect a VCR with a coaxial cable. A channel rescan will then be needed (usually, the signal is broadcast on Channel 3 or 4). DVD players generally do not have a coaxial output and are therefore not compatible with TVMicro Express.
Q: Does TVMicro Express Support Timeshift?
A: Yes, on G5 and Intel Macs.
Q: Can I run TVMini Express on a USB 1.1 bus?
A: No, the bandwidth provided by USB 1.1 is not sufficient to run TVMicro Express. PCI USB 2.0 cards are not Supported either. A built-in USB 2.0 bus is required to run TVMicro Express.
