TVDuo Troubleshooting
Q: I ran the channel scan and some channels are missing.
A: This issue may affect UK users in particular. There are several options to solve the problem:
- Make sure you are running the latest revision of EyeTV 2.
- If you are using the mini-antenna, especially in France or the UK, place it near a window. Alternatively, connect TVDuo to a roof-mounted antenna.
Q: The software does not seem to recognise the serial number.
A: Check that you have not misread the serial number, for example by inverting a '1' with an 'I' (i). In the EyeTV setup assistant, make sure you have selected 'Miglia' as the manufacturer and 'TVMini' as the product. If this still does not solve your problem, please send us your serial number. The serial number is located on a card, the software will not recognise a hardware serial number.
Q: When I watch TV, some channels display a blocky picture. What can I do to improve this?
A: This is likely to be a reception problem. You can verify the signal strength and quality in EyeTV > Preferences > Devices > Signal.
Usually, a roof mounted antenna will resolve most reception problems, especially in France and the UK.
