iMovie and Director's Cut

3. Press 'Play' on your analogue equipement (VCR, Camcorder, etc...) and press 'Import' in iMovie to capture the footage onto your computer. You can also press the 'Play' button in iMovie to see a live preview, without writing any data to your hard drive.

You can now start editing your video, by adding titles, effects, transitions and so on.
