AlchemyTV DVR Plug-in SDK

The AlchemyTV DVR application Support an open plug-in architecture. This allows third party developers to extend the functionalities of the Alchemy applications by creating plug-ins.

Miglia has made the SDK for the post-processing plugin available to third party developers and welcomes any person or organisation who wishes to enhance AlchemyTV DVR via a plug-in.


Postprocessing plugins
This API enables you to write a plug-in that will process a file once it has been recorded.
Three plug-ins already exist and are installed by default with the application:
- "Open movie with Finder/application"
- "Reveal movie in Finder"
- "Open movie in window" (without an external application)
