The AlchemyTV DVR application Support an open plug-in architecture. This allows third party developers to extend the functionalities of the Alchemy applications by creating plug-ins.

Miglia has made the SDK for the post-processing plug-in available to third party developers and welcomes any person or organisation who wishes to enhance AlchemyTV DVR via a plug-in.

For AlchemyTV DVR only:
This plug-in enables you to create DVDs and Mini-DVDs with AlchemyTV DVR. Recorded files can be postprocessed and converted to MPEG-2 (DVD format). Best of all, you can create your DVD's with chapters and burn them to DVD+/-R, DVD+/-RW, CD-R/W from within AlchemyTV DVR!

This plug-in is based on the stand-alone application MovieGate, created by the people behind macetvideo.com, the reference website for video editing in the French speaking Mac world.

Note: Record your movies using MJPEG or DV. Recording in MPEG-4 may result in an error when the plug-in performs the conversion to MPEG-2.

This plug-in enables you to automatically post-process a recorded file and export it to VCD (MPEG-1) or S-VCD (MPEG-2). The created file is then ready to be burned onto a CD-R/W.

Future versions should permit mastering capabilities from within AlchemyTV DVR.
